I'm a director looking to shoot a webisode sitcom series sometime over the next 2 months , and I'm searching for a standing living room set with an overhead light grid. If the grid has lights already, great, if not, can bring our own.
The set would ideally be something in the vein of the living room on Married with Children / Friends, but the same high level of set design would not be necessary. Script calls for a house with renter roommates, so a frat house-type feel would also fit. Ideally we would be able to dress up the set with small props, so the less furniture we'd need to bring in for the set design the better. 1 day prep- 1 day shoot.
I'm funding it out of my own pocket, so any regular day rates are not achievable. I'm targeting less than $1200 for the 2 days, negotiable depending on how well it fits our needs. If you're a set/production designer and have something in your network that fits the bill, perhaps you could negotiate a finder's fee for yourself and/or come on board the project if interested. Location scouts/managers also welcome.
Thanks crew, looking forward to collaborating/networking.
