Light Work - $20 - $30 average
- Original is in fairly good condition. Few tears, cracks,or stains; minor contrast adjustments or manipulations required.
Medium Work - $40 - $60 average
- Original has tears, cracks or stains, but they are located on an area that is not complicated (no patterns, faces, etc.). Color or contrast needs to be altered uniformly across the photo.
Medium/Heavy Work - $60 - $70 average
- Original has tears, cracks or stains that are located on an area that is complicated (patterns, faces, etc.). Color or contrast needs to be altered uniformly across the photo.
Significant Color Damage / Adding Color to a Black and White Print: $70 - $90 average
- Original is faded and colors have shifted considerably; different parts of the photo must be treated separately (skin, background, etc.).
Extensive Work: $70 - $100 average
- Original is heavily scratched or torn; parts of the photo must be enhanced individually; elements must be added or removed from the photo; manual sharpening of selected areas.
